Kate is the Director at Petit Miracles. She has been with the organisation for over 8 years, starting as a retail apprentice in 2014. Before she started her newest role, she had worked in the workshop, supporting beneficiaries and learning new hands on skills and managed the retail shop, supporting customers to find their perfect piece of furniture. She has always been interested in furniture and loved being creative but never had the confidence to pursue it as a career. Once she saw the advert for the apprentice role back in 2015, the rest was history! Petit Miracles has always supported her and given her a chance to explore many roles, getting to know many aspects of the business, and herself. She enjoys spending time in the upholstery workshop, teaching people new skills about which she is passionate, and spending time with our volunteers and beneficiaries- everyone has something unique to share and offer our community and Kate loves to learn all about them!
