This one-of-a-kind vintage theatre seat, originally rescued from the historic Sheringham Little Theatre, has been boldly reimagined with a nod to British subculture and cinematic heritage.
Expertly reupholstered with a luxurious red cotton velvet seat, deep blue cotton velvet seat back and arms, and finished with striking white piping, this piece offers both comfort and style. The original wooden seat panels have been hand-painted in black, complemented by a newly crafted black wooden base and fully resprayed metal frame.
The flip-up seat back proudly features the iconic Royal Air Force roundel—also known as the Mod target—along with the word “Quadrophenia,” paying homage to the legendary 1979 film and The Who’s rock opera.
