After previously working at Petit Miracles for nine and a half years, I progressed from being a beneficiary to a volunteer, eventually becoming the organisation's first paid employee and, later, the Workshop Manager. I acquired skills in upcycling and managing trainees and volunteers, giving me valuable experience and a deep understanding of the core values
Having been a part of Petit Miracles' development, I possess a clear understanding of the services the organisation currently offers to its beneficiaries and the local community.
I have since moved on from Petit Miracles and am now employed by a local authority as a Senior Advisor in the Housing Options department. In my current role, I closely engage with vulnerable adults, assisting in preventing homelessness, finding suitable accommodation, and organising emergency accommodation when necessary.
Petit Miracles provided me with the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally, and I am eager to continue my involvement with the charity, supporting the charity that once supported me.
