As many of you already know, we have had our last trading day yesterday in our beloved JJB Sports Shop in the West12 Centre. we are sad to say that JJB are now officially in administration, Sports Direct have purchased 20 of their shops leaving more than 130 stores to shut. The store we have been using in a meanwhile capacity has been shut for over 2 years, we were lucky enough to inhabit (and totally reinvent the space) for 6 months. Our partnerships have flourished and working alongside the folks at AgeUk has been fantastic. So fantastic that we are looking to co-habitate another premise, hopefully within the West12 Shopping Centre, as soon as humanly possible. Be sure to check back often as I will post updates here and on our facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Petit-Miracle-Interiors/150764701635194

It’s been a great summer, well not the weather, but a great summer for upcycling. We have learnt lots new paint tips and techniques, met new people and welcomed new students to our workshops. We are now at the bridge of building our capacity and are looking for people with experience in furniture restoration. We have lots to learn, as well, lots of knowledge to share and welcome all interested parties to send your CV and CRB if you have one to firstname.lastname@example.org

It has been a huge learning curve the last 6 weeks, from setting up the space, managing the activities to overseeing the shop itself. After a few difficult weeks getting the shop sorted we will be happy to be open again soon. In the meantime we will be changing up the space a little and making the space more customer friendly and hopefully creating a more valuable workshop experience for people.
There will be a guest book on site and we would love to have your feedback so please come down, say hello and tell us what you think.
Opening hours are Sunday 12-5, Monday 12-8 and Tuesdays 12-5
As a result of a potential partnership with Furnish we will be staying on in the former JJB Sports Shop, offering our workshops and beautiful, upcycled in Britain furniture and wares. So please, if you would like to pop down and take in a workshop, volunteer, donate and simply hang out than please do so! We are still organising the schedule going forward as this is a new development however, we will be in the shop this coming Sunday and Tuesday, 6th and 8th May from 12-5pm.
Hope to see you all there and until then happy upcycling everyone.
